Long thread title. I was talking about this at work the other day; it's an interesting and nerdy topic.

If you had to pick an extraterrestrial species or group of species from any Sci-Fi series/book/game/movie whatever to invade the planet. What would it be any why?

I would pick the Covenant from the Halo series.

Reasons:
They're not parasites nor do they attack on the biological level. <--not cool
Humanity would stand a chance, unlike the Borg or someone like that.
