I have a DPMS AR10 in .308 and really like it. Not sure which model exactly, but it have the dust cover and forward assist. I got it in a trade and it has a free floated tube. It will shoot under an inch all day easily with my handloads. I haven't shot any factory ammo out of it to compare.

Davenportguns.com is the best place to buy Armalite. I just bought a National Match AR10 to go with my Armalite AR10T Carbine. I am an Armalite guy. I looked at buying the Maten and building the rifle, but why spend a ton of time making one when i can buy one off the rack that will be more accurate than one I can make. I just sold my Sig 716. Its way muzzle heavy, and even worse when you put a can on it. Way too unbalanced for me to hunt with....

If they start making these Armalite Carbines again, get one! It has the national Match barrel with an A2 profile in 16 inch. Light enough to hunt with, and accurate as hell out to 700 yards!
