    My wife got a bicycle to ride, she had a tendency to fall over when stopping. She bought sneakers with sole's like those, no more falling. She is 69 and not as limber.

    Or you could have adjusted the seat for her, or bought her a shorter bike, or a lady version. We had to sell our bikes cuz of basic balance problems. Bummer.

    But that said, the gal in the pic does look limber!!! :)

    Wish I was able to get a picture of this. I was driving home and the truck in front of me had this tag. Not sure if it is a vanity tag or he just got bad luck from Florida DMV. The tag read:

    It's a custom Caddy built as close as possible to the description of the car in "One Piece At A Time", and it's not actually my ride. I'm just a smartass.

    My oldest daughter will be getting her driver's permit this year and this will be her first car. Its a 2002 BMW 525i E39. Picked it up from a coworker a couple years ago. Has 58,000 miles on it only. Needed a few things done to it and been getting it ready for her for a while now. Really fun car to drive and really solid. I have not had any expereince with BMW, but always admired them as a kid. My dad was a Porsche / Audi mechanic, so I grew up with the family always driving and Audi.

    The e39 is probably the best car BMW ever made. You've got the bottom range straight 6 so aught not have too much trouble with it. That said, you will still experience some joys of BMW ownership.

    Riding to breakfast this morning when my wife called. I paired my phone with the bike a while back, and you can display maps and other stuff on the big instrument screen. Imagine my surprise when her contact info and picture showed up on the screen. Fortunately I don’t have a Bluetooth helmet so I just had to wait for the call to go to voicemail. Don’t get me wrong - hands free in the car is awesome but I don’t want to talk to anyone while I’m riding.
