They only make this engine (Voodoo) for the GT350. Flat plane crank, redlines at 8250 rpm. I think just this year they started selling crate engines. Even the GT500 uses a different engine with boost. This video shows you the sound on board. It’s really something. In the movie Bullitt the engine sounds were dubbed in from a GT40. If they had this engine then, no dubbing would have been required.

I had an 05 C6 (with the usual first year problems). Those LS engines are amazing. I think the LS2 was making 350hp and 350 ft lbs at 2000 rpm. You could short shift it all day and let it rumble.

Here's what my performance data recorder says it will do in the 1/4 mile. Was spinning so bad so my time isn't so good but the mph not too bad.

Thanks! "Petrol" is pretty cheap right now. I do get 30+ mpg on the highway so that not too bad for a 650 hp vehicle.
