    Out here by the lake!
This is why, when the wife and i eat out, that always pay our server the total
on the bill minus the tip. I always give the tip directly to the server and tell them
..you either got a tip or you didn't. Your call..

They always give me a nod, a smile and a silent thank you.
So often the tips go into a pool. The tip is then divided so other behind the scenes people get a part of it.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Paying a visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a puzzled Governor Tim Walz asked the guard why he bothered staying with his fallen comrade instead of just deserting him.

"Who cares about some no-name soldier?" asked Walz, laughing jovially. "Isn't there something else you'd rather be doing?"

Onlookers reported that Walz followed the guard at the Tomb back and forth for about half an hour, dumbstruck at why he wouldn't quit and go home. "Come on, what do we owe this dead guy? It's hot outside in this suit," said Walz as the guard remained silent. "It's so simple, buddy. Just walk away. What in the world would compel you to stay by this guy's side?"

Bloody is a cuss word in the UK
I'm well aware of the meaning of "bloody" in the foreign English vernacular. If it were possible, he should be stuffed in a boot and given several packages of fags to keep himself occupied, hopefully asphyxiating his socialist person.
