Those paragliders are powered aircraft. Pretty sure that makes them legitimate targets. Plus, Hamas fighters are not a uniformed military force - they're irregulars at best, and terrorists in truth. The Geneva Conventions don't necessarily extend to them. Not to mention their established practice of committing war crimes as a matter of course.
If they can shoot you while they are descending, you can shoot them. I don't think there is anything in the Geneva Convention against shooting parachute troops that will be on the ground in seconds shooting at you. Shooting a pilot ejecting from a plane may be a different story.Could someone better versed in the Geneva Convention clarify a point for me - as guerrillas would the Hamas "paratroops" be fair game while they are still in the air or not?
