Got this email a few days ago pretending to be from the IRS. It looks very authentic. Except for a couple of syntax errors, it is very well done, complete with the IRS logo.
The attention line did not address me by name, but by my email address..another give away.
I can see how some folks might fall for it and click on the link, which is likely where they will ask for your SSN and other personal info.
