    I wonder where I can buy the original lubricant that was used in Glock. It was brownish in color but very good viscosity yet not so greasy

    Do I really need it then

    Thanks for educating me about this copper stuff.

    Now do I really need it for my glock coz it is wearing off.

    If so where can I buy it, at Academy?

    It's just put into the guns at the time of shipping so that the metal rails and slide don't bind together. You are fine to remove it and replace it with lubricant.
