I was wondering if I could mount a regular scope and one of those angled picatinny mounts for a small red dot?

My 10/22 has a custom regular picatinny rail on top so that wouldnt be a problem. Reason Im wondering I could have the long range capability and if I see something closer I can use the red dot. Like on my ar 15. My 10/22 has a bull barrel no sights so that whys Im asking.

    Yep. All day long.

It's the same set up as you see in 3gun. Just with your 10/22

You can also copy the Burris set up if you like. Where the red dot sits on top of one of the rings. You just need to get a ring with a rail on top.

I have 1 with some weaver Grand Slam still rings lnib. very lightly used. Its an tasco world class ao. it's a very nice target scope for rent fire. I put it on my custom10/22 for a while and it worked excellent. but I have gone back down the bear receiver and am starting all over. if you are interested in the scope feel free to PM me and I can give you more details I'm at my inlaws right now so I do not have the scope here to look at to tell you exact details.
