I need to pin a 2 inch device to my AR-15 to hit 16 and I would like it to accept some variety of suppressors should I want one down the line. I landed on the Griffin Armament Flash Comp and purchased both the Taper Mount and Gate Lock versions today since it was on sale and will return one. I ended up not going with a Sure fire flash hider or comp since they lock you into their brand and are very long putting the rifle beyond 16 pinned and weld and I wanted to get as close to that as possible.
Which one of these comps will give me greater flexibility when choosing a suppressor later or which is the better comp mount solution over all? I know I can just buy Griffin Supressor but it would be nice to know I can grab from another maker as well.
Also if any one else has a Griffin Flash Comp let me know which suppressors outside of Griffin work with it.
