Orbit- thanks for sharing. I've been shooting my aguila lead rounds and saving my copper plated rounds for my can. Do you notice that the copper plates rounds keep the can cleaner?

I don't shoot a lot of lead through it so I won't have to deal with cleaning it up.

I drilled and tapped the underside of my 22/45 Lite so that a rail could be mounted. Works great.

If you look closely at the second picture, you can see that my buddy just zip tied a rail to his gun for this outing and it worked well. Also if you look close, you'll see that the Primary Arms reflex sight has been replaced with a Burris FF3.

Both of the rails were short sections of Troy rails the I milled a radius in the underside of to match the Ruger barrel, and then glued a thin rubber gasket to to protect the barrel's finish when the rails were attached.
I also have this 22 suppressor host.

It's just about as quiet but the Ruger is the better host. With the Volquartsen sear and hammer and my flat trigger, trigger pull is about as good as the 2211 and it's lighter and less finicky. FWIW, the 2211 is more fun to shoot unsuppressed than the Ruger is unsuppressed.

Well I sold my Colt 1911 Combat Elite a little over a year ago and I miss it, soooooo maybe a Colt 1911 22 will fill that hole in my heart....
