I've been wearing a beard since before it was cool again.. I try to keep it mid face level/shortish length with slightly longer stache and goatee area but since I work from home I often will go a month or two without shaving and end up looking like a castaway. The only parts that I use a bladed razor on are the upper part of my face and neck. My woman doesn't seem to mind and people in gun and hardware stores are more responsive to me. Plus, shaving is unnatural and potentially fatal. Jim Neighbors supposedly contracted hepatitis while shaving in India.
