Wish I would have seen this thread last week before I trimmed up the beard. Had a nice, even 1" chin strap going on and now I'm rockin' 1/2" at best. Still even though.

I have known guys that have a beard like mine, but shave the triangle on the bottom lip. No biggey.
The rest is bullshit, I first grew mine because shaving is pain in the ass. And covered some of the ugly. Kept it because women like the way it tickles.

The 1/2" between my beard and mustache doesn't grow in all the way. It's much easier just to shave the 'stache and save face.
