Jimmy Stewart and Clark Gable. Both left Hollywood to fly combat in WW2. When the Air Corp wanted them to sell war bonds, they refused so they could go to combat. Jimmy Stewart was unofficially reprimanded for flying too many combat missions as a squadron commander. Our current "celebrities" are useless.

Never heard that before today. Then again I was never much of a Beatles fan, but did listen to a little Billy Preston.
