My mom had her likeness painted on a B-17 bomber. I saw pictures of her when she was young. And she was stunningly beautiful.

I never saw it in person, as I was the little brother who ruined moms figure.

In 2003, while working at Mayport Naval Air Station, the Blue Angels did an air show at Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The day after the show all the Angels left the base one at a time and the last one took off and did that maneuver, except it went about 135 degrees before straightening out and taking off. I thought sure it was a goner, my heart started beating very fast from adrenaline and another guy turned to me and said "did you see that?", I just nodded with my jaw hanging open.
