First coat is on. You see a little of the wood grain through the primer and first coat, but that’s ok. It’ll probably get two or three more coats and it’ll end up looking whitewashed. At least that’s the idea, anyways.

White pastel stain would have looked really nice on that. I never did like paint on wood with lots of grain showing.
