Be cautions about the "doing something extra." A good PT plan will balance work with necessary time for recovery and rebuilding. She doesn't want to rush it, especially early on in the process. More is not always better. Just sayin'. I haven't had a hip replacement, but I've been there and done it wrong for different stuff...

This is really good advice, time heals all wounds. I had my left hip replaced and had a good PT plan , best thing I ever did.
