Morning all
Power back on about 5 minutes ago.
Probably because the system couldn't maintain the temperatureStrange thing.
In the 2.5 hours the power was out, my refrigerator went up 10 degrees, but my freezer went up 45 degrees.

Just a guess but maybe the freezer door doesn't seal too great. Usually they will do a decent job of maintaining everything cool as long as you keep the doors closed. My house lost power for 8 hours during Hurricane Harvey and never had to throw anything away. We just left the fridge and freezer alone everything was fine.Well, since the power was out, that is obvious, Captain.
Why was there such a difference in temperature change between the two?
You could visit the GlockTalk forumI wish the power would go out here at my place.
That way I wouldn't have to see this thread.
Mornin.
55° freakin too damn cold degrees. Is it summer yet?

Well, that would suck, it's not even 3 months old.Just a guess but maybe the freezer door doesn't seal too great. How full is the freezer vs the fridge? When they have more stuff inside, they warm up slower when the power is off. So is your freezer very empty and the fridge full? Or is the freezer maybe in the garage? Just WAGs here.Strange thing.

I'm just guessing so don't take my word for it. Maybe the insulation is crap and doesn't do a good job.Well, that would suck, it's not even 3 months old.
