In the public education field, that's the norm.....So I learned at today's safety meeting that I have Occupational Burnout. F*ck, I didn't know the was a clinical name for being tired of this bullshit.
This is not my first, and I do. Long range with rimfires is fun. You're gonna love that 17 HMR!

Did just that today. Went to the range to practice on 1 second turning target, with my Glock 19, in anticipation of my annual LEOSA qualification. Why they had the targets set up to do that only as close as 10 yards was a mystery, usually that is fired at 3 yards. After shooting that well enough, I tried to get the range owner to qualify me and he said come to back another day. He was not able to spare the ten-fifteen minutes or so it would have taken - said he was very busy. So that will have to wait until tomorrow or next week and I'll call ahead to make sure I can get it done. Also shot several rounds through my Beretta Model 87 Target pistol. It was a blast, literally & figuratively and was definitely etter than being outside walking my dog in heat. Then again, had to do that as soon as I got home. Enjoying a Lagunitas IPA right now, nice and cold.Less talking. More shooting!

Oh yeah, forgot what day of the week it is.
Tomorrow, probably just 100 yards to zero 2 rifles and re-zero another. But my range goes to 200 yards. 500 yards for matches. Temple Gun Club. How far you shooting
