So do most old folks.Morning. Having some coffee with the wife and the little guy is having his milk. Quite a production to move this guy around the house. He's got a slew of technology that follows him everywhere.

Details? I have one and curious to know what’s down the road for me. Mine’s an 08 with 76k miles.Wife's Expedition is toast. Evap went on it yesterday. Estimated $2200 to repair, about half of what it's worth. We just put $1000 into it last month. I think we're cutting our losses.
I was hoping to get another couple of years before replacing it but doesn't look like that's in the cards.
We can get by with one vehicle for a while but I don't know what we're going to do for a replacement when the time comes. We're not buying another F$^@ing Expedition. Ugh.

That’s no good. And you’re right, prices have gone crazy.Oh brother there's been a laundry list...
Last winter blend door broke on driver side so no heat was blowing. They had to pull the entire dash to replace a cheap part. Had to drain coolant. It was a job.
Noticed neon green dye on the garage floor yesterday. When the truck was running, it was dripping pretty badly. It was refrigerant.
Driving it to the shop today, we had no cold air.
Evaporator is shot. Replacing that and the drier, new coolant, etc was going to run about $2000.
We just had to replace the automatic liftgate latch and motor. I'm pretty sure the power running boards are getting ready to go.
Decided this was enough, we're done putting money into it.
This truck has been rife with problems even while in warranty. Makes me sorry I had bought a Ford last year. I think we're done with the brand and that's not an easy one for my wife to say because she comes from a Ford family.
Now to figure out what we do next. Thankfully we don't need a vehicle immediately but we're going to sooner or later.
Doubt we can afford another low mileage large SUV because they've gone bonkers in price in the last 6 years.
That sucks. Sorry to hear that. My wife's Chevy Equinox from 07 hasn't been much better. Hate that thing to the core. We have to move but after that I think we'll also be shopping for a new SUV.Oh brother there's been a laundry list...
