Me too. Don't like to leave the house unattended during outages unless it would be life threatening to stick around. Of course in Harris County it's always life threatening to stay around, even WITH power, due to thuggery and no justice system for violent crime. During the last event 2 weeks ago was without city electric for 4 days. Had 2 small generators that put out enough for lamps. fans, fridge, and washing machine. Not nearly enough for A/C or clothes dryer. I feel like a wimp for being so easily inconvenienced without modern amenities. Never even fazed a person until very recently in human history.

I talked to Jonas (Axxe) yesterday and he sounded great, and optimistic about getting the situation setup for his recovery. They're going to get him up on his feet today.
