Since it stay's in the water, with no cover, finally installed an auto bilge pump in my little 15' hack, old Jon boat, used mostly for shore line fishing and as a shad boat in the cove. (port side transom corner, where the rain water gets deepest).

Not much confidence in the auto part ... we'll see.

Would be nice not to have to go out to the dock and bail in the wee hours.

Heavy rain for 2 hours this morning.

Just checked the boat, about 1/2” water in the corner by the transom (maybe a quart+/-), which is expected results for a bilge pump.

Basically translates to bone dry in this boat. It’s on a deep cycle battery so it’s up to the battery gods now.

Good morning. Today's gonna be a shitshow LOL. It's the last day we can use our print vendor who is not open on the weekends for any reason...it's the first day of the final golf tournament (whose sponsor hasn't signed off on a couple dozen pieces of art that'll need to be printed), and IT thought it would be a good idea to do some maintenance tonight, so they're turning the servers off at 3pm.

However, my vacation time starts as soon as the final piece of art is produced. And I'll be off all next week.
