My 20 year old daughter wants a motorcycle. I quit riding when they were little as Phoenix was too dangerous. DFW is worse and I'm trying to steer her away. Shes young knows it all and has limited experience driving and never been on a bike.

I'll die of stress if she goes thru it.

Get her into a riders course. She will have to learn to ride and show skills. It also counts as the driving text for her M endorsement on her license. She may not like the coordination to operate the clutch and shift and change her mind. Who knows. The class is required anyway. Low speed operations provide enough of a pucker factor for some people that they change their mind. On the other hand, give her the tools to be a good safe rider. I know not everyone’s kid will go to dad and ask for advice or help. It is tough when you don’t want them to go a certain direction in life but on the other hand they are adults and to support them wins you kudos down the road.
