    Blade feathering malfunction. Rapid overspeed, imminent catastrophic failure. This can control fall and debris field direction.
    These things throw shit for miles when they self destruct.
    Or, super slow rotation with workers in the nacell. If a guy gets caught in a shaft or gear, there's a button up there too. This scenario is not destructive to equipment, normally.

    That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the explanation!

    The office of my sister's pulmonologist just called and cancelled her appointment today. That's the second cancellation in a row, costing us three months in her normal rotation. She's rescheduled to October.

    Normally I wouldn't mind not having to take her to a doctor. However, her insurance authorization for her oxygen ran out a couple of months ago and the rental on that equipment is ridiculously expensive. The folks who provide the oxygen tell me not to worry about it; they'll eat the cost as long as she hurries up and gets the insurance authorization renewed. I fear this new delay will stretch their goodwill to the limit.

    There are times when bureaucracies really start to get on my last nerve... :(

    Won’t the doc’s office do a quick telehealth to do the reauthorization? I’d let them know this is a problem, especially if you’ve been good faith about scheduling in time.

    This particular doc won't. However, someone on his staff may be willing. They didn't offer but, then again, I didn't think to ask, most likely since the oxygen supplier isn't pushing so I wasn't feeling enough pressure.
