Anyone have any gun related goals for next year?

I'd like to take a class or two to improve my pistol skills. It's been one of those things I've been wanting to do, just need to spend the time and money to do it.

By the end of the year I hope to become more competitive in IDPA shooting as well.

    How about you hot dogs?

Going to finally start shooting clays?
Finally take that hunting trip you've been putting off?
Take more new shooters to the range?

I only say "more" because I'm currently waiting on the first.

Got big plans for the year in that area though.

Get my CPL, practice at the range at least twice a month (should be easy - not even a mile walk from my front door to theirs), get my mom interested in shooting, and add more stuff to my collection.

I don't usually make New Year's resolutions, having made one many, many years ago that I would never again make a New Year's resolution. Next year will be like this one, though ... continue adding to my collection of firearms. Maybe another lever-action rifle, having recently picked up a Mossberg 464 30.30. For some reason, I just like them. Maybe all those childhood years of watching westerns on TV and seeing the "good guy" taking out the bad guys with his trusty Winchester had something to do with it. :)

Learn to adapt and keep shooting. Having a lot of eye troubles so I'm changing over from iron sights to optics. Got enough ammo and reloading supplies so I'm going to blast away!

Going to save up for an Arsenal SLR-106, either a S&W Model 19 or 4" Ruger GP100 and get a shorter barrel and magazine tube extension for field 870. Would also try to save up for an FN FAL or PTR-91.

Buy less firearms and buy more ammo.

Get to the range more often.

Consolidate at least one more caliber.

Save up for a Tavor (always end up buying something else)
