Try Stargate Universe. I loved that series. I think it was only one season bu it's still great.

I own Stargate SG-1 (all 10 seasons), stargate Atlantis (all 5 seasons), and both movies. I haven't gotten through SG-U. Just not as good.

Seen the Life series (that is when the cop was sentecned to jail, then realesed and started helping others again?), the Stargates, Firefly and Serentity. Have not seen Trollhunter or the Tucker and Dale v/s Evil. Also a couple others that I hadn't seen. I will check those out. Any other suggestions?

Just got done watching the entire Jericho TV series, would recommend that to anyone.

    Obscure movies worth watching......................

Burt Lanscaster in the Viet Nam film: "Go Tell The Spartans"

Another Viet Nam movie that is really good, an Australian film: "The Odd Angry Shot" (great movie for FN/Fal fans)

Less obscure and more popularly known: Couple of Mel Gibson movies would be good, "The Patriot" and "We Were Soldiers"

Final VN film, Apocalypse Now Full Movie aka:Apocalypse Now Redux. Not the shortened version shown in theaters, but the full length movie with the Playboy Bunnie encampment and the French plantation scenes in it.

WWII from the other viewpoint, "Cross of Iron"

If you have not seen "Gallipoli" that is a classic.

The Original movie "MASH" is always good to see again.

Finally, if you have not seen "Dr. Strangelove" you should.

    Restrepo

Restrepo is a feature-length documentary that chronicles the deployment of U. S. troops in Afganistans Korengal Valley. Very cool documentary if you're into that sort of thing.
