Ok-just outta curiosity...can we do that in Texas? I know there's something about not being able to concealed carry on federal property, but state and city property is ok, am I correct?

That resident and the mayor are both heroes in my book. The council member who got up and left is entitled to his opinion. I do not fault him for leaving the council meeting but I do think him a fool. The council man is entitled to his feelings but they cannot be used in place of law. This is the problem of the liberal left. Thier feelings are more important to them than the rule of law. So without law they get anarchy.
I was moved by the mayor's appology and I liked the fact he pulled up the oath of office he took as a councilman and read it for those remaining in the crowd. He is a true patriot.
