That’s about what I’m paying for a 2023 RAV4 and a 2018 F250 gasser.
It’s only me driving and I just paid $1,650 for the next six months. I seldom drive the truck and only drive the Toyota about 12k per year.

The insurance man straight up said it's the cost of the new vehicles. Before with my old truck & her car it was like $2,200.00

Saves me alot of money.

I had a baby sitter device to monitor my every move when I drove a company vehicle. I have no desire to be continually watched. My DMV report should be enough to determine my level of risk for an insurance company.

Y'all just need to check what Blue Book is on you rides. My Tacoma was $50K. My Nissan truck brand new was like $11Km and her car was about the same. Big difference in cost.

I haven't changed my driving habits one bit because of it.

Although, I will say that as I've gotten older (66), I don't drive like I did as a youngster.
