I have done a lot of research and I have been wanting an AR for years, but I went in with every intention (or so I thought) of getting a Saiga .223 that I intended to modify into an AK with AR mag adapter and the works,
I found out that I still wanted an AR.
I looked at some Rocks, a Stag, and a M&P15, but this one was only $100 more than the Rock and M&P and I couldn't pass up a deal like that. I could have gotten out of the shop hundreds of dollars cheaper and had some money for Ammo, but I really wanted an AR and something that would last for years and that I could pass down when the time came....
I ended up walking out with this for my Christmas present to myself:
