My dad was a cop. I got to meet Festus once upon a time at the rodeo he appeared at. I have an autographed picture somewhere.

Wish I still had my mugshot. I went looking for it, but don't think they have the records online from that long ago.

Several years ago on a PC forum, they showed a website that had archived all the sites since Gore invented the internet. Was pretty cool looking at them. You may find your mug there. Shouldn't be too hard to search for the link.

Many don't know that Festus (Ken Curtis) was an established singer and in popular movies. He wasn't the bumpkin he portrayed in Gunsmoke that we all like. Being the son-in-law of the famous director John Ford (who made John Wayne famous) helped his movie career. Each time I watch The Searchers with John Wayne, a fabulous movie, or The Alamo with John Wayne, with him being Captain Dickinson under Travis, is always fun comparing him to Festus.
