Local friend of mine got tired of the limited choice regarding his Mark 23 and decided to build his own accessory rail adapter. I snagged some pictures today in case anyone with a Mark 23 was looking for a solution similar to his.

The adapter is made from 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish and is very lightweight. I think he intends to get them hard anodized.

I've heard of rails and other accessories altering the accuracy of particular handguns, one documented case is the Glock 22, so I put a few rounds down the pipe to check off that box. That's 3 rounds in the same hole at 15 yards off-hand. I'd say it didn't bother it's accuracy any, LOL. Plus, it was an excuse to shoot a Mark 23.

Here's some pics of the rail by itself.

I don't know if he intends on selling them, but I thought I'd share.

The mark 23 rail is much larger than the picatinny. I am selling these for $169.00 on eBay or locally in Austin at 512-496-4301.
