Alan Colie, the Door Dash delivery driver who shot a YouTube prankster, has now been released with time served from a Loudoun County, Virginia, jail for unlawfully discharging a firearm in an occupied building.

This matter has been the subject of much discussion on YouTube gun channels and this forum regarding the defensive gun use insurance provided to Mr. Colie by USCCA.

He never should've gone to jail in the first place, and never should've been convicted of the stupid "unlawful discharge" nonsense, when he was acquitted of the other charges - it was self defense, thus lawful. Hopefully he gets better lawyers and gets that shit expunged or the conviction overturned.

There was one pankster a few years back that was shot and killed. He did these robbery pranks and came at someone with a butcher knife pretending to rob them, the guy shot and killed him in self defense really feeling his life was in danger.
