I might, anyway, but right now it'd only be for one item (short-barreling my UMP) as I have no interest in suppressor and no budget for full-auto anything. I don't mind waiting for the CLEO signature requirement to be phased out this year since I still enjoy shooting with the 16" USC barrel.

Yea, my FFL dealer has the MKE's and he's located in Montgomery, TX, by Lake Conroe. I don't think he minds doing FTF, you'll be doing a 4473 form and NICS background check anyways, cause you're buying from him, a dealer. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get things setup for you. Just be aware, you will pay 6.25% tax on it since you're in Texas, but I'm sure he can minus the shipping costs and fees. I believe, after taxes, it'll still be around the same shipped asking price for out of staters. BTW, what barrel did you opt for on your UMP SBR? I'm trying to source an original German UMP one rather than cut down mine or get a US-made piece.
As far as the UMP, I'm still waiting on approval, but I'm also going to just be replacing it with a German or HDPS US barrel. I don't want to deal with cutting it down and it's fairly easy to do the barrel swap yourself. After you're Form 1 is approved of course. Here's a video on how to do it:
