Looking for a lightweight .38spl...new or 'gently used'...Austin area

Howdy...I managed to miss out on a couple of lightweight 38 spl revolvers in recent ads. Would be interested in a private sale(I'm a CHL-holding, cash-paying sort of guy in north Austin) OR a bit of a deal on a retail unit. If you have or know of such an animal, please let me know.

In the meantime, this might be a way to get into the caliber, even though it's not a lightweight...interesting:

A S&W will typically give you pretty good service. Keep in mind, the lighter the handgun, the greater the recoil. And..............welcome to the forum!

Thanks folks! I picked up the S&W 637...nice little revolver. DA trigger is a bit longish, but SA is pretty slick. As with most guns, this one is better than I am. For the first 50 rounds, I think the results were acceptable. Kick is not bad at all with target ammo...I reckon the +P will be another story .
