I have a friend coming in town from up north, and last time he was here we fed him mudbugs and he fell in love. He's been calling me all week telling me all he wants is crawfish!

Last season i bought a sack from a place up north called the crawfish shack but the majority of them were on the small side.

I know its early in the season but whats a good place to get live crawfish here in austin so i can boil them at my place?

    I never get why people eat bait. . . . .

j/k I'm a big fan of the good stuff, though I' ve used crawdad's to get quite a few catfish.

    Same here.

I've never ate a crawdad, but caught some monster bass with 'em.

The Golden Phoenix on Nacogdoches Road has them on the buffet at times, but I would not know how to initiate ingestion.

Give me a boiled Maine Lobster, and I would dip it in hot butter!

    Be well.
