Anyone have any experience with Iver Johnson? I know they are assembled in the Philippines, but I’ve been looking at getting a 1911 and they have a 10mm long slide that sure is purty!

If your trying to stay on a budget RIA is not a bad option. Armscor is the parent company. They have a few 10mm options & also a the 9mm/.22tcm hicap model that is interesting.

Had one. The thrasher. Was good. Recommend IJ over other cheaper brands.

I would seriously consider looking into the R.I.A. options. If for nothing else than the warranty and customer service. Both are top notch.

They also made the water moccasin skin 1911. I would own one. Judge me all you want.

I got my RIA 10mm in 2012 it shoots as well as my Colt Delta Elite 10mm but that may be more my lack of skills than one firearm or the other.
