    just got back from OCing at the self serve carwash. Everything went fine but there was a fine mist of water on my Glock 17 slide and I heard they rust really fast

    No one noticed, that I'm aware of...................

    was looking but no other OC going on that I saw....

    Open carry? It's legal now and while I support those who choose to do so it's not something I will be doing.

    After living in Atlanta, GA for years (OC is OK there (for many years - most everywhere), even without a holster, even in the busiest airport in the country) and after years of following the gun forums there I predict this forum sub-topic will be alive forever.

    Seems like some folks lived for putting on their OC rig on the weekend and going someplace public and hurrying back to post their adrenaline rush experience. If a cop was involved, even the good experiences are followed by the OC'er telling how he writes a letter to the officer's boss commending the officer's professionalism.

    Gets pretty old. But one out of a 100 posts were due to questionable OC'er behavior (beyond just OC'ing, something like mingling with kids at a park) along with police overreaction and a night or two in jail and legal fees .

    uh it's a public park... I have as much right to swing on the swings as they do.
