That story has no relevance to Israel. If anything, it just proves that people will move on seeing as even by your own account only your small circle carries because of it. Not the whole state, not everyone since then. Just the small group.

Plenty of crimes to hear about daily on the news, many violent. And yet the vast majority still choose not to carry.

So your story proves nothing/lacks relevance.

Texans can carry. How many do you see exercising that right on a daily basis.

Not a fan of disarming anyone, but also not sure it would have had a huge impact. People get complacent.

I don't know the answer as most that carry don't open carry. Concealed is concealed.

If We (any of us ) decide to carry a side arm on any particular day, I assure you, that I will have an enhanced sense of focus as long as it is next to my body. If I choose not to arm myself that (no particular) day, I will still maintain my enhanced sense of awareness, My plan A and Plan B will be different that day. Either way ... I'm Good.
