Israel's smart enough not to launch a first strike with nukes. It's the one guaranteed way to turn the entire world against them, and it doesn't fit with their playbook of specifically targeted strikes against combatants.
agreed. Israel doesn't need to use full force nukes yet... but when they do, they will, and they won't look back.

I’m still waiting to hear which genius decided to DISARM the Israeli citizens, which allowed this unnecessary massacre.

Had the victims had their Uzi’s like their grandparents had, this would have been a trap shoot for hang-gliding Hamas terrorists.

Those who disarm innocents should face justice for the resultant chaos they created !

The Israeli court system is not only more liberal than ours if that's possible, they also have the ability to hand pick their successors.
    I've mentioned this before.

Texans can carry. How many do you see exercising that right on a daily basis.

Not a fan of disarming anyone, but also not sure it would have had a huge impact. People get complacent.

    Well, you are “Young”.

I can recall back when adult Israeli men routinely carried Uzi’s on little neck straps.

The few who didn’t have a Uzi had a BHP or 1911 in their belts.

An armed society is a polite society.

Israel is surrounded by fanatical enemies.

It’s fine to remember a time. Doesn’t mean people would still be doing it.

Would have been helpful if people at least had something in their homes. Could have prevented a lot of slaughter. But situations such as the music festival would likely have ended much the same.

People would get tired of carrying an UZI around daily without facing anything that required it. Just as people in the TX and LA typically don’t carry because they feel a firearm is unlikely to be needed. That wouldn’t change simply because they’re Israeli.

Virtually all my Friends here & in South Texas carry. Some don’t carry all of the time, but many do.

Once a person gets caught unarmed, it leaves an indelible lesson.

Google “William Pat Fitzpatrick MD” & see why some of us have carried since long before it was legalized.
