Well, don't take this as a 100% accurate label. Lots of people use the communist word to label batshit crazy leftist socialists because the word use to actually be negative a few decades ago (when communism was openly the enemy of the free world).
They might as well call you a leftist shit-for-brains anti-democratic oppressive Nazi socialist. While more accurate, it is a tad long and doesn't have the commie ring to it.
Get used to being ridiculed. You started this of your own volition. It's like that with pretty much any dumb sh*t people do. Imagine coming here and telling on yourself that you snort condoms, eat tide pods and inject bleach and now have strange rash with your hair falling out. You will likely be ridiculed too, laughed at, pointed at etc. We laugh at stupid stuff all the time. We're humans, we like to laugh at stupidity.
You always have the option of requesting that the thread be closed, btw.
Or he could just leave and find another more accomodating forum that accepts commies!

It certainly might make some gun staff wonder about somebody's ultimate intentions (as you realize), unless you are recognized.

But in banks and gas stations - due to their cash registers - I never thought that masks should have been allowed.

;)----This next comment is just for the general viewers' consumption, scorn, ridicule...wot evah....

A middle-aged fellow student in my Krav Maga (hand-to-hand self-defense) class dropped out less than a year ago.
He is a pathologist, so last fall I asked him "Do you perform autopsies?"

The doctor said "No, I run a Covid Lab (hospital etc)." So I thought "Maybe...just Maybe he knows more than some politicians, who now are losing relevance and 'followership'...".

He stated that due to peoples' fingers contacting so many objects then their faces, added to other factors, the cheaper blue masks are basically Not effective.

It was interesting to hear that in person from a doctor. He also stated that childrens' natural immune systems - should never have required mask mandates in Public School classrooms, cafeterias, playgrounds etc.

    I’ve had the same thoughts.

Although with the same Bank somme 50 years; during the COVID
fraudemic, I’d enter mask-in-hand, greet folks, then don the mask.

Gun Shop Folks have every right & reason to be suspicious of maskers.

What I found funny was that the door of my bank had permanent "No Guns, No Masks, No Hats" signs on them. It looked like they were saying they simply didn't want a completely stereotypical bank robber to enter.

When the wuflu hit and made everybody crazy, they had to stop enforcing the sign so they covered the whole thing. For the longest time, there was no prohibition of guns (with or without force of law) posted at the entrance. That's pretty unusual for banks.

Sad ending to the story, though. When the mask mandates stopped, they apparently reviewed the law and put up large 30.06, 30.07 and an attempt at a 30.05 sign based on the two previously mentioned. They also re-displayed their old gunbusters/no-obscured-faces signs.

While Chase is an evil monolithic corporate bank, I've never seen any gun prohibition signs at any branch I've entered. I always carry at the bank.

Sounds like time to find a new bank.
