If the extreme leftists, which own the Democratic party, get both houses and the WH - look out.

There is some truth in the death by a thousand cuts. But I believe - perhaps optimistically - that there will be a breaking point somewhere along the way. Perhaps secession (but not necessarily a war this time). Or perhaps war if the leftists try to use armed means to achieve their end.

Some people thought America would never break off from England. Yet eventually it happened.

You know, if I was in trumps position and they were crying about me not leaving I would be phucking with them too. Just like Obama did when he talked about life in office after 2 terms.

Just incase there is no confusion Trump supporters being mostly small gooberment conservatives would be the first in line to evict his ars if he tried a stupid stunt like that.

This is a good question remember history and what happened in Europe in the 1930's and 40's it would be a shame if the so called democratic socialists came to our country. It will start slow if they do first medicare for all then death panels for the old people and people deemed not worthy by the gooberment. Of course they will ban all guns and they will do it without a whimper from the majority of people look how easy it was in England, Australia, and just about any country run by dictator or socialist. I agree depending what happens in 2020 will be a defining moment for our country, and if it is socialism that wins then we should have a civil war.

    Gunz are icky.
One of the things I've learned about "progressives" is their absolute belief they are The Enlightened.
They truly believe they ARE better than the ignorant masses who do not think as they do.
Issues such as conservatives winning elections and firearm ownership frustrate them, even anger them.
They know what is best. And by God you're going to like it!
This is what makes them so dangerous.
These people would gladly see you and yours loaded onto railcars. The world would be a better place without you.

When Trump loses and refuses to leave the whitehouse we will have MASSIVE CIVIL WAR!

That's why we must impeach says the left.

    candcallen,

FAR more likely is that DJT wins in a landslide, the GOP controls both houses of Congress & the LUNATIC LEFT does something HORRID that will make everyone long for 9-11-01. IF that happens, the "civil war" will be met with a "housecleaning" by armed patriots/conservatives.

Fyi, I "monitor" several of the FAR LEFT websites & believe that the LOONY LEFT is already planning a HORROR STORY after President Trump wins reelection, the HoR goes GOP & DJT gets another SCOTUS justice seated.

Fyi, the LOONS say that they will "take violent action" in Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston & San Antonio.
As for me & our house we are armed/prepared to defend "hearth & home", should "something awful" start here.
(We aren't looking for trouble but are prepared in the event that trouble comes looking for us.)
Note: The crazies would do well to NOT come to Government Hill Historic District, as our neighborhood assn., about 18 months ago, surveyed "gun ownership in GHHD & found FOUR homes that had no firearms. = This area is filled with armed service members, ex-GIs, police officers (active, reserve & retired) & hunters.

    just my OPINION, satx

I don't think a full blown civil war would happen if the right is in control of the U.S. government. I wouldn't doubt an escalation of rioting, but the left doesn't have the resources to fight a civil war without the help of the federal government.

    easy rider,

AGREED 100% - What I expect is something like the WATTS RIOTS "on steroids". - Fyi, I was in LA County then & well remember how awful that the week-long mess in Watts & the surrounding areas was.

Certainly that could happen, but we don't look back on that and call it a civil war.
Only looking back on history at a civil war can we point to and say "This is where it started". Rioting could be a catalyst, but isn't considered a war in itself.

    Square on Washington DC. .

I kind of feel we need to start over in some regards. Too many on both sides have been in office for too long.
Some feel that the stagnancy of our government is a reason for war in purging and rebuilding. I'm not sure I would go that far, but obviously it's not working how it should.

    easy rider,

My GUESS is that "the steroids" in my imagination is something that starts out like WATTS & spreads throughout the central city & beyond to the entire Bexar County area.
(Watts was evil enough for me. = When it appeared to be starting to leave Watts for the rest of the county, I was FAR from the only person who started loading their firearms. In my case a Model 870 with buckshot, as I was then too young to carry a pistol. Btw, I still prefer a riot-gun/buckshot for "close quarters battle".)

    Hypotheticals, simple answers please

    1. If you're goal was to conquer the US, how would you accomplish that goal?

    2. When Katrina hit Nawlins, what was the most significant threat to public safety?

    3. Did the response and actions of FEMA meet expectations? Has FEMA met expectations and needs adequately at any point in history?

    4. What are our nations top 3 vulnerabilities?

    2. News/media

    3. Subjective question. Yes.

    4. The public, the court system, law enforcement.

Cool video. Wasn't expecting the spin @ 47:30. A video both sides should watch and consider.

I've felt this same way while pondering the complexities of life and a civil war. My thoughts were pretty close to the final summery of the video. I agree for a peaceful separation. After watching this... the whole "death by paper cuts" sounds like a bullshit excuse.

As long as we keep our arms. We're a force to be reckon with.

    Thanks for sharing Easyrider
