Oh - and, I really enjoyed meeting some new faces - Heinz Bar, Breakingcontact, Moonpie, and whoever else I forgot. My belief still stands - gun people are good people. Shooting moonpie's M1 made me giggle.
I was particularly excited this weekend because I got to shoot three new-to-me guns I'd never shot, two of them were awesome, one - meh. The SR22 I got from Tundrawookie was awesome. I was trying to shoot low load ammo through to see if it would stovepipe or something - It ate subsonic .22's perfectly and was a tack driver.

Semi - super cool gun. Shoots standard 9mm. The good thing is that if you go to enough of the shoots, you get to know the other TGT'ers.

yup! been to the last 2 hicksville meets...us DFW folk dont organize enough like you southerners.....i'll try to change that when I have the means to do so.
Nothing to it. I just posted up a question, Vaquero said he'd be in town next week, I looked at the weather (which was perfect) - BAM - done, except for the Polynesian.
It was great to see everybody and meet all the new people. Thank you guys for letting me shoot such amazing guns. I don't care what anyone says. you guys are awesome.

Duckknot, you did indeed have your hands full with those silly girls. When the one started jumping around with a loaded weapon I kinda backed off! Good on you though for introducing them to the wonderful world of firearms and trying to undo the damage Californication has done to them.
