I have lost 46 lbs since Dec of last year. I want to get healthly and in shape
I am 6'7 and at my heavist weighed 325.
I've done it all by myself. No surgery, no pills, no diets. I just started eating better food and less of it. Its a simple mindset really.
My energy is a high as it has ever been it seems like and I feel awesome.
I have hit a big plateu and have not lost much weight in a month so I went to see a nutritionist to fine tune my diet and get advice going forward
They did some testing and gave me a final goal weight that is only 20 lbs away from where I am now. They said that I would have to work out for longer periods than I am now. Currently, I workout in the pool 25 minutes, at least 3 days a week.
They said to get into the fat I want to burn, I had to go past 30 minutes of aerobic and also do resistance to built muscle. As muscle burns more energy, it would get my metabolism up where my body was burning more calories
I am thinking of joining a gym and doing circuit workouts but would like to do more at the house with bands. Right now all I have a home is some 10 lb and 5 lb one hand dumbells
What advice can you guys give me?
