I probably should not put this out there to you guys for a few days, but I will take my chances.................

Academy's in my area (Houston) have gotten a stock of 30 round MagPul PMags. They are the non-windowed kind, black only at the location I shopped.

    With tax it was $<17.

Only catch, is one per person per day. I will be back tomorrow for another one.

Ok folks, go get them. :)

I understand that most Houston area stores got them, and placed the same restrictions. But yes, it was the Webster/League City store.

Got folks hitting a few other stores to check them out other places also.

Most Academy's I heard has a group that sits at the door and bum rushes the gun counter. May have to stop and pick up a mag before work

They were sold out in Webster and in Pasadena by 10:00am this morning. Counter guys said they have 15-30 that sit up chairs and wait for them to open, then buy up the good stuff. No plans to ration ammunition like WalMart has been doing though. Did notice that they had a few cases of .45ACP from Winchester on the shelves, and some ammo is starting to fill in the empty spaces. .380 seems to not have taken the hit like it did last panic as they had a moderate supply of it. .40 cal seems everywhere, makes me question if it got as popular among civilians as I thought it had become. The one that amazes me is .22LR, I don't remember it being hit this hard 4 years ago. Got lucky and got some mini-mags and some copper plated rounds in Seabrook before they ran out this week. See how the gun shows are this weekend, got two in the area. High Caliber in Conroe and Premiere in Stafford.
