    I found this at Cabelas, numbers matching, stamping. Shot flawlessly, I've heard there are fakes and so I was curious. NOT FOR SALE.

    The cabelas I go to had some decent surplus. Not too long ago they had a lot of k31s. I the k98 at a reasonable price.

    The rifle is a real K98k. Would need better pictures of all the numbered parts to determine if those have been renumbered.

    However it has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts which hurts the value significantly, which is probably why it was a much lower price.

    All the numbers match, I kinda figured that the scope tapping would of hurt the value a bit.

    I went when they first opened. It's kind of a drive from north Austin but I took a look at their used inventory on the website and see that I indeed need to make a trip down there.
