My renewal CHL application was returned because they didn't like the print card. It came back to me within 2 weeks. Four people from our class bombed for the same reason.

I sent it back with a new print card and just received my new CHL yesterday. All totaled, it was a bit over 2 months.

I live outside of Harris County if that helps.

Mine was a new CHL and it took 90 days from the date they received it. I walked the application in.
