I ride my bike every day and I carry a North American Arms .22 Magnum in my shorts pocket. Depending upon the circumstances, it could prove useful.

Not watching 22 minutes but riders being violently attacked though I didn't hear if bikes or something else is stolen during the attacks. I guess the riders don't carry any protection. School is out so time for teens to begin their summer crimes!

The last apartment I lived in was over by the Houston Medical Center. I rode a mountain bike every day after work from the Houston VA along Braes Bayou to South Gesner. I also rode with a couple of my neighbors some nights everywhere including into down town. I carried my Sig 226 with a spare magazine in a belly bag.

With the way people drive around here, I wouldn't ride a bike unless it was on a trail. but if really needing to bike, a messenger bag or sling bag would make for a comfortable way to carry a pistol too.

I wanted to try to get a few good old boys together to go on some bike rides. I've been eating too much and exercising too little, so this is a good chance to do something about it. But they are now saying they arrested a couple of hoodlums in connection to this.
