Tried white paint and polish. It is a little better than nothing, but not much.
Maybe I should put my drafting skills to use and design one for the guy at smith sights or something.

You aren't too far from Dawson Precision. They work with fiber optics on sights.

I tend to fall back on fingernail polish.
