Hope you like gravy filled sausage and wine coolers with the evening entertainment being a sock puppet show.Again, welcome to TGT.
Glad to have you join.
New to this social media thing, huh? You do know it's customary for the newest member of the forum to host a huge TGT party at their house and supply all the alcohol and BBQ?
Sort of the TGT initiation process!
Very interesting. I always like seeing history like that. Even as late as the 30s, Belton was still trying to make up for the railroad going to Temple instead of Belton so it makes sense they would advertise the town anyway they could.Hey J,
Welcome to TGT....
Bit of trivia...used a BELT ON/Continental 5' Finish Mower for the last 20 yrs. Finally, not much left to weld patches on. Replaced with a King Kutter, this Spring.
The best I can figure? It was made in the '30's?
The "Tag" is proudly stamped "Belton Texas"...
Later, Mark
Indeed.Welcome from Temple. Nice to have another local.
