Ok, I'll admit, I didn't think of that. However it was not "cocked" and my finger was not on the trigger. But I'll give you this one. ;)

It was a first time try with the camera. There is no LCD on it, so It's like a "maybe it's pointing at the right direction, but I'll see it only when I upload it to my computer" thing.

About the other guns: They are all unloaded, safety checked, the safety is on and all are pointed at the left side of the range, which is another sand/dirt-"wall". No person is there.

For some reason there are huge bumps on those concrete blocks, so as far as I seen there, all the people put their guns on them like this. (Check out Damcad's videos -he is shooting at the same range- you can see, all the shooters at range put their firearms on the concrete blocks like this.)

Thanks for the note about the .357.

I thought it was fine, Steve. Except I couldn't see the gun when you were shooting. Nothing wrong with puttin' on ear protection while holding the gun by the way as long as you're keeping it pointed down range (which it looks like you did).

sorta funny that the pics in post #1 of this thread are no longer in view....but here's my latest project - 2 Makarov 9x18s, an E. German with what I call a Black Chrome finish and a Bulgarian with a brushed Hard Chrome finish - both now have Marschal grips with thumb rests and finger cuts - both are very reliable pistols and are "up there" with my favorites

Nice Maks. I first became aware of them back in the 1970s when they were exotic collectibles from behind the Iron Curtain, impossible to get, and only owned by advanced collectors with $1K or so to spend. My, how times have changed; there were never any examples as pretty as yours back in the day.
